Fleur Australe is a polar expedition sailboat, specially designed for high latitudes. It was designed by Philippe Poupon on the plans of Michel Joubert. The boat was built in Strongal, thick aluminum, it measures 20 meters long, has a lifting keel, a divided rig, a good engine and a great autonomy, and a position of helm located in the wheelhouse, true place of life to observe the sea of day and night.
